Either way I think it's a good thing to do...There will be times when I'm not glued to the computer and if some outrageous thing happens and it goes up 2000% I want my order filled when I'm out shopping for sponges. right?
Sunshine that is true. I asked Etrade that last week. Cash account cannot borrow shares. Margin account they can even if sell orders open. I asked how could even in margin account anyone borrow shares against an open order to sell. She said should not be able to but they can feeling they can always find more to borrow later.
Then we talked about nss and she said don't get me started on all the corrupt shorting that goes on. How they don't follow rules. She said too much of that goes on in short sales in the markets.
