I received a letter from one of the european distributors. They confirmed the pr and the order. The order is a good size to start with. I believe it's 200 pairs. That should fly out of their warehouse once people begin to talk and then another order should kick in but bigger. A very good start.
Someone suggested that when it comes to this company not to look at one's watch, but to look at the calendar. So if I am reading in between the lines it means that Mr Taylor was suggesting that large seasonal sales should kick in late spring and through the summer?
Being in Quebec and since they have an office in Quebec I am still wondering what kind of marketing strategy they will use to gain a big foothold into this "hockey hockey market"?
There was a news report on a french television station about 1 week ago. Here in Quebec hockey is more important to us than football is in the United States.
I would suggest the company gets behind the establishment of an inline Hockey League as a preferred sponsor; that would supply the League's players with products but at a very attractive price.
And once that is up and running here repeat it, city by city.
