Semi, got anything else besides multiple articles about the same Barrett memo? And even in the memo, I don't see Barrett pointing the finger at the employees directly, at least not in the way you put it. In fact, he's putting the blame on the entire organization, while you're just focusing on the management. Given the amount of bottoms-up work that goes on within Intel (despite the frustrations of some such as former Willamette guy Bob Colwell), it's not entirely fair to place the blame solely on management.
I'm figuring this out myself as I try to balance between dissention and being a "team player," especially with managers who will always measure progress their way because the way I measure progress isn't exactly displayable on Powerpoint. Except for the results, of course, but by then it's too late.
