Show me one suit that has worked against the DTC. The seem to answer to no one and are impervious to the laws and regulations that they are supposed to uphold and they seem to fear anyone else clearing in the US. Maybe because the NASDAQ OMX would do the job properly?
Ask PB of Overstock what it takes to even start that. Then explain to me where we would get the millions of dollars to fight such a case. Has PB won anything? Nope. What is needed is for someone very high up to tell DTC to set us free....even that may not work. It is all academic anyways, because, in time, we won't need the DTC.
