TJ, two of your statements about google sound like conflicts to me.

I suppose it really doesn't matter. Google isn't going anywhere. But, ad companies derive revenue from advertisers.
The Yellow pages analogy is a good one. But, the Yellow pages only contains those ads which are paid for. I use Google for what I hope is an all-encompassing search.
I can see how the place is a zoo, however. The Playboy interview should leave little doubt that some of these guys are pretty inexperienced at what they are doing.
