Sure it can happen, not even for buyout stuff. Last year they halted like 30 in one day. I see no evidence that EESO is under any investigation. They haven't PR'd wild claims or created fake websites. Jared went on TV to talk about EESO. Not what you would do if you want to be unnoticed.
