Low-interest loan

I'm making very little in my short-term treasuries anyway and
have been careless about leaving hunks of money in non-interest
bearing accounts. Even the half-point increase makes a big
difference in the return on Treasuries.

I'd be quite happy with short-term rates in the 6% area. Wouldn't
have to work.

I must be more careful than most. I generally get mine to were I owe at the end of the year but have to pay only a few hundred dollars. I'm one of those that has a custom withholding to keep it in line.
