Actually, I don't believe that's even necessary.
As in science, as you know, after you think you've nailed down a fundamental "principle" the real name of the game is to keep on going searching for a single counterexample.
In this case, I was just trying to punch holes in relying solely on a single figure of merit such as the P/E ratio, even if it is probably the most universally applied and trusted fiscal measure for judging future share price.
To my mind SIRI is that counterexample, and punches such a huge hole that it exposes what a minor consideration P/E ratio probably is when investing in developmental companies!
Speaking of counterexamples...Any news on how Gravity Probe B is doing? (I'm a sometimes astrodynamicist LOL by vocation.)
