robo, well, a reader is just a reader lol it doesn't matter which barcode reader someone uses. There is no infringing when it comes to the readers. It depends on that whole direct indirect argument lol. i am no expert so i can't tell you for sure, i will leave that to the experts here. But my focus is more on what Google has developed on their own or has to go to outside sources in order to get. Google has its own 2d barcode called Zxing. They are not using that at the google developers conference, they are using QR codes. So Google's proprietery code, Zxing, was not used at their own conference, that speaks volumes to me. Also, Google is using someone else's barcode reader, not one that they have built themselves. It seems to me that google is far behind in the 2d barcode race imo
