With the new technological advances that are either newly availabel to the patients or are in development now, there are new options for the glaucoma sufferers. I watched a video on You Tube yesterday that showed a procedure being performed to reduce the pressure that does damage to the optic nerve, it was pretty amazing.

i didn't know this about high blood pressure.

Over time, high pressure causes the nerve fibers to die, resulting in decreased vision. Vision loss and blindness will likely result if glaucoma is left untreated.


plus medicine can have big side effects too.
