By increasing their taxes dramatically they would not be able to hire as many new people. There are other ways of doing it instead of just raising taxes.

I agree... given the looming deficit and lack luster economy, I think rolling back the tax cut for the rich makes alot of sense... along with restraint in spending. Certainly Bush's cake walk in Iraq didn't help either, did it?
