My favorite thing in the whole world is Sprints/midgets.
Pound for pound the fastest of all.You put 800 horses in a 1200lb. car, and you're talking some serious serious stuff.
Add another20/40 open wheeled monsters and send them flying into the first turn.Headers roaring, mud slinging, it's rut catching mayhem. It takes a special breed of person to just consider it.To be stabbin the metal & bringing her around in the corner in one of those monsters is ,well,a person has to have something just a little wrong in the head.Ha!Just to think of it, after all these years, gets me soooooo excited I probably won't be able to sleep tonite.Oh yeah, they do bite you back sometimes.Been there too.I,m so jealous, that place must be great.If we go fishing, we gotta see the outlaw cars.
And some short track racing. When I left Ca. 2 yrs. ago they had just got Irwindale raceway up & running. It sounds about the same.Me & 2 good buddies who all used to race were getting all kind of dumb ideas.The problem was we all wanted to be the driver.Ha! Ha! Anyways, if dmxp turned into another dia-met, I'd be worth 74.6 mil, give or take a few bucks.($66.00 a share).
We had the boat out today and had a great time.We didn't get any fish, but had 4 jig strikes.Had a 5 ft. ono, (wahoo) come out of the water after our lure.He tookthe whole skirt, but we missed him.
Going back out tomorrow.Though I'm beat, a 21 ft. boat in 8-10ft. seas will do that to you.
