Face it, Dothan can't compete against Athlon 64 in the DTR segment. It doesn't have the performance. Many of the games are held back by the low performance 3D graphics. And ScinceMark 2.0 Primordia and Molecular Dynamics are at least a good a benchmark as Photoshop CS filter. And how bad did the Top Dothan do?

This in comparing the $609 2GHz Dothan 755 vs the $504 Athlon 3700+. There is only one listing for the 2GHz Dothan at Pricewatch whereas the A64 3700+ has 12. And those emperical test show that A64 3700+ doesn't use anywhere near the family 89W TDP. More like 40W at full load (the two system benchmarks work out to be 44W for the 3800+ and 34W for the 3400+). So its not 4 times the power. Dothan probably uses 25-30W at full load (with NB), so its probably between 33% and 60% more.
