Then apparently government works differently in your neck of the woods. I hope the county commissioners aren't paid officials.

Also, it's nice to know that the city has such an abundance of money that they feel they can afford to pay an attorney.

In addition, this question hasn't been answered yet:

"If Berlin has a grand vision for the Laidlaw site why didn't they purchase it when it originally went up for sale?"

As the Mayor has publicly stated, the City wants the old pulp mill site to be used for its "best & highest use", which is clearly not a Biomass plant. That is all you really need to know. I have heard that developers (non-industrial) have previously expressed interest in the site but they are waiting for LLEG to fail before making any offers or presenting their plans. Again, good luck on your investment.

Is the general population also being left in the dark about the mayor's "Grand Vision"?
