If it is such an obvious scam, then why hasn't it been shut down? It's been 5 months going on 6 and the authorities have had plenty of time to shut down this mom and pop operation. Doesn't seem obvious to me.

I don't know about time in jail or whatever, but I have trusted Jared. I am, however, very sketchy about the Lees. I never thought that this was a scam, but parts of things that happened still make NO sense to me - even now! and based on what i've seen so far (and as long I was watching) with the PRs and the peculiar & unexplainable acting shares, the PPS and the hype & exagerations leading up to the McD's PR, I think Jared may be unkowingly led down a road of deception. I don't know the legalities as much as you do, but if this buyout is "not real" as you say, then I'll bet their exit strategy will be a non-sale; so everyone can walk away or try to walk. "Can you imagine" the Lees (possibly like Madoff) planing how they would use EESO to manipuate funds and stock for so long and people going along for the ride? WOW! I hope this is NOT the case. We all have heard about Jared's good integrity, but what about the other "strangers" no one seems to know very well who are pulling the strings now and still some of them are anonymous. What abunch of pussy cats! Show yourselves! The Shareholders deserve that much!
