When others teased me as a child just to watch me lose my temper my mother would tell me "Just ignore them!", which is, of course, easier said than done. When you allow others to draw you into their game, invariably they win, you lose. When you refuse to play, the game ends. You know who you are, and you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. Just be who you are.
