If I am not mistaken, and memory serves; and, I haven't gone back to review the original FB post, but I believe that the original research quoted was from a post on the Yahoo board by someone with a p-4 laptop and a rectal thermomotor.

We've seen previous tests like this, with nearly identical results. Prescott leaks power like crazy.

Hmm... wouldn't leakage be a function of how much power is running through the chip (and maybe other variables as well)?
