72 hrs seems a little excessive for a fed wire.

It used to be I could have instant access to a fed wire because of the balances I maintained in my accounts at my primary brokerage. But since the bear crash of 07-08 they stopped that practice at even the largest brokerages even when you have well over 7 figures with them in multiple accounts.
