Wrong about cooling... BTX is much better a cooling the video card and DRAM as well. The Airflow cavitation has been improved which reduces noise and improves cooling. http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.aspx?i=2070&p=3 One of the more noticeable changes BTX offers is that the graphics card slot (PCI Express x16) is now the last slot (or the first depending on how you look at it) on the board, making cooling much easier and much less restrictive.
But back to the original point... it seems you think that the most likely thing to happen is BTX will not be accepted, and in the unlikely event that it is, AMD will be able to develop a hammer solution that fits into the BTX case? --Alan
