Actually...what you say makes sense.Some of us used to patronize Freerealtime.com. If you click on "Community" to see their most active boards...it shows a large bar line for the most active board. When you go to that board there may be 4 posts. If someone (can't imagine this happening) wanted to draw attention to a particular stock, all they had to do was post 6 or 7 times in succession about virtually nothing to get it as the most active board & draw attention to it. So when someone would hit "Community" & see the most active list, they would go to that board to see what the action was about.
For the most part, they won't be relatively inactive boards.
The idea behind that screen is to answer the question: "Where're people posting right this minute?" The other one answers the question "Where do people hang out and post the most overall?"
Edit: I'd make the other one the one that comes up when you first hit "Hot!", but it's a pretty expensive screen. I want people only going to it when they really want to rather than on their way to another screen.
