au contraire-Pinky-Miner with a legendary KEEVIL at helm can pretty much "afford" to conduct its business ANYWAY it desires... LOL...

However, many investors just wish/hope it will ALSO be in a socially responsible manner (although we can almost be assured that will be the case)... as they have already shown their willingness to work cooperatively with the indigenous peoples inhabiting the region with the agreements they've made...

Good points all, Rocketeer, but if you have ever negotiated with the Chinese on a major contract you will know that there will be an inordinate number of concessions that will be required to get the deal done. They have a way of dragging things out to wear you down. In addition, a signed contract is no guarantee that the terms of the contract will be met or that negotiations won't be reopened. It's a whole different style of doing business. Working a deal with these folks can be a huge resource drain on a small company that results in loss of focus and loss of valuable time that might otherwise be put toward executing the company's business plan. I'm sure none of this is news to our experienced SRSR executive staff. It will be interesting to watch all of this unfold.
