Very good information.....

but in Rumsfeld's defense, there was never a vote offered to the board which the European company ABB has confirmed but at the same time has said the directors were informed? Donald Rumsfeld has stated that he did not "recall it being brought before the board at any time".

After Rumsfeld joined the Bush administration, shortly there after President Bush "...ended the policy of engagement and negotiation pursued by Mr Clinton, saying he did not trust North Korea, and pulled the plug on diplomacy."
