"...heading towards third world status."

Come on you can make a better argument than that? Really? Don't start crying look at the July job numbers either to back your ridiculous comment. That statement is right up to par with John Kerry's: "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it." Sure what a surprise of July's numbers but "third world status". LOL. - Marty

COMMENTS APPRECIATED ON THIS: I personally am skeptical of most politicians, as I am of Bush or Kerry. But I have one choice to make and I will say this: Bush's reasons for going into Iraq revolved around WMD and Saddam being a brutal dictator:

There were no WMD's and Saddam was a brutal dictator throoughout the 80's and 90's when he was our ally and Bush senior was VP in an administration that was buddy buddy with Saddam. We didnt attack him then. Also, N. Korea dictator posesses Nukes and openly announced that he is ready to take on the US with nukes. We aren't going after him. What does Saddam have that N Korea does not? Lemme think...it isnt the WMD coz there are none, Couldnt be the terrorist thing coz no operational ties have been proved.

That leaves oil, since the Bush family is already in the oil fortunes business, and VP Dick Cheney's Haliburton was awarded billions of dollars in contracts.
