With Scottrade, you can write them an e-check before noon, and have the funds to trade the same day. Pretty darn amazing.

OT Waitedg. That is my next step. (Transfer direct) My infinite knowledge of our financial systems led me to thinking it would be just as fast to have my bank cut them a check. DOH!
Who would have thunk one financial institution wouldn't trust the other and make the funds available immediately. Heck Waterhouse probably has a running balance on all my accounts anyway. Best LH.
