Yep , that's a good question sparky. One that pops up in my mind is what are the actual agreements with the partnerships? Comparatively the government in Madacascar has a progrom by which government gold buying agents regularly circulate through the rural areas and buy the artisinal gold production at a structured price. This insures that the gold , and gems are not smuggled out of the country and sold in the middle east , and India. This was rampant until the impoverished farmers we able to get a fair deal through the government. Think about it gang , if sgcp is dealing fairly with the partners , then those people will be out on the river digging as much gold ass possible to get the kids fed. If they can't make asny money at it why work.

I totally agree that the 143-101 is important and should have been made more public. The equipment delivery had delays crossing the atlantic (hurricanes) then it was in customes for a few weeks, then the rain didn't stop until abnormally late in the season and delivering our eqipment safely to the sights was impossible until the roads dried up. Unknown to us at the time, the paramount cheifs we were working with to aquire the mano river 20 miles stretch (with option to the ocean) wanted their rivers dredged first (including the sewa concession), so the pampana got put on hold (expect for artisan mining). We had to complete our access road before the equipment could get onsight. I don't remember exactly why they have been re-uping their 20 year permits every season. I know that the ministry of mines restructured and everyone had to refile and pay fees.

Any, the quick version of the timeline.....
