The Rutgers coach Greg Schiano was defensive coordinator at Miami and did not want any part of being head coach there several years ago when it looks like he was heir apparent.
As a Jersey boy, he walked into Rutgers job and has gotten his way with program improvements. The football stadium expansion cost has gotten way out of control with the fiscal crisis to the point that ex GS CEO now governor Jon Corzine can't construct a plan to pay for it.
