As far as not getting approved till the end of the trial that is probably a good conclusion. I would not rule it out, crazier things have happened and they can change their minds. However this is reaching.
The only very positive new would in my opinion be a partner. This would permit them to pay off the financing and finish the trial. I think this is possible.
