Well, we don't, but if it's not, it was a pretty boneheaded move to say the least.
My opinion is that Jared would have a lot more to lose by putting out a fake buyout PR than by not mentioning anything at all. Some might argue he needed to do that to get another $6M from selling off the 300M shares issued into the market at $0.02, but that doesn't make any sense either considering this was poised to hit $0.10 anyway and if Jared has at least 200M shares of his own, that's $20M.
I don't know about you, but if given a choice, I'd rather have $20M than $6M. So logic suggests the buyout was/is real.
