Mike: Leaving aside the concept of genetic hard-wiring, since I'm sure you know there are more exceptions to the rule than there are followers of it, if you don't find Laura qualified in regard to contributions to the world I wouldn't want her in the position. Let her be wife and mother. :)

There are plenty of cold blooded, ruthless, women. Heck remember the one who used this thread in two different IDs? But that's not a good qualification for President, IMO.

I enjoy the idea you contributed, though, of having the President be of one party and the VP of the other, of Teresa as Pres and Laura of VP. I'm getting a kick out of thinking about that.
