Not acquired as in acquiring the company, acquired as in acquired the services.

means they are most likely going to use them for storage of product and distribution. Basically so they can expand their area of distribution. Lower shipping costs etc.

You can use the word Aquire in a number of ways. What he is saying is he Aquired that contracted service of that company. It does not mean he owns that company.

Aquired means Recieve
