The commercial will not draw in new investors. That's not it's goal. Plus, like you said, THIS IS A PENNY STOCK! People just are not going to want to rush out to invest in a penny stock after seeing a commercial. Current investors may want to buy more after seeing the commercials really are airing, but new investors will not come in.
You mentioned the problem of flippers and yes, that is a very legitimate problem here. What makes this worse is that the flippers already destroyed big news released by the company --projected revenues.
Some have mentiond how other cash for gold stocks are trading at .30 or so. That is because they have A LOT fewer shares issued. TFZI has 1.5 billion right now, which could go up as high as 2.5 billion. I believe MFGD only has 80 million, so please do not expect this stock to get to the same share price level as MFGD without a huge reverse split.
