One of the interesting things I've experienced after traveling at high speed is how slow things feel when you're traveling at what is still considered a pretty high speed.

For example, going from 150MPH to 70MPH makes 70MPH feel like you're puttering through the neighborhood. On a maglev train, dropping from 275MPH to 180MPH feels the same.
