That processor is still a P4 and is probably another attempt to use that ahem 'large inventory'. It's at 2.26 Ghz remember.
The K8 3100+ can beat 2.8 P4s in gaming so that has nothing to fear. The K7 Semprons are benched on business applications and should retain that lead. Considering the 2.167 Barton will probably become Semp 3300+ and the 2.333 Barton (currently HP only) will probably become Semp 3600+ AMD should cover upto 3.6 Ghz Celeron D with K7 alone *now*, leaving K8 to take over as the SOI ramp continues.
