Any Prescott being made today is using the same stepping as Nocona, so they will have XD and EM64T capabilities in them, should Intel decide to launch these. Maybe the ones on the shelf will never get this capability, but the reason why we don't see XD and EM64T right now is because Intel has decided not to, not because they don't have it.

NX (or XD in IntelSpeak) will start from E0 stepping, which will not be available until September / October, so the functionality is either not there or is not functional.

As far as those on the shelf ever getting this (64 bit), why would you leave the door open and say "maybe"? Otellini said no:
