That looks quite convenient. Newport will let you enter trades at any date in the past, so if one were trying to load in actual history, one could use your Excel method and then use the TRADE window to do the actual historical trades from the past.

They'd show up just as usual with the graph being created with the "+" and "-" signs in place.
