From time to time we have heard reports of Dr Frudakis's contacts with large pharmas, and in each instance we got the impression Frudakis was nothing but frustrated by the experience.
One had him saying he got the impression the person across the desk from him did not know what he, Frudakis, was talking about. Another, he was insulted by what they offered.
Pretty soon, after enough of these kinds of contacts, I imagine Frudakis said, nicely, fu large pharma, I'll make the drugs myself using our classifiers and expertise.
Hence, the management team he has put together, very strong in drug manufacture.
I hope he's able to pull it off, to stick it in the ear of large pharma, to shepherd the new paradigm in prescrition drug treatment all by himself.
I know, I'll be here watching and sharing his dream with as much positive energy as I can infuse it with.
