Thanks. Reason for the steep roof pitch is that the great room has 30 foot vautled ceilings. The siding is actually cement fiber board manufactured to look like shake shingles. They are pre-stained....... the trees are redwoods.

.and yes i did build it with as much green as possible. Fsc building timber. Glu-lam's. And the interior trim is all from a 6 foot round douglas fir tree that got milled on the property.etc,etc
