An increase in Short Interest...

Can mean a lot of different things, but primarily it means people may be thinking GS's Q1 Earnings Report may miss ANALysts's expectations or some other bad news coming for the company or the sector...

I don't follow Short Interest since I'm basically a Day Trader, but here are two sites that are giving the numbers and they're slightly different...So I'd go with Yahoo Finance's numbers because the Finviz numbers don't update as quickly...
