Keep in mind, these oscillators do not predict when something will happen but rather they give confirmation as to when it happens.

For instance, we can both agree the DOW is not going to go up for ever and ever. There will always be bull and bear markets thus at one point in time the DOW is going to reverse and head south again. In a situation like the last three days a person sets and wonders or worries if the bear is back and if they should sell everything or not in fear also that if they sell everything then they may miss more gains. These oscillators take the guessing out of it and give you confirmation it has happened while it is happening.

As for predicting, the closer these oscillators get the closer you are getting to that point in time. The oscillators can only give you the means to make an educated guess.
