#18558 RE: Kag #18541

Kag stated:

<"However, those who bought at 6.5c and sold at 11c almost doubled their money in a few weeks, which is not bad.”

My comment: Since BioCurex stock closed yesterday at $.09, the above sentence is obviously just one side of the story. The omitted part of the story is that some poor investor is now underwater on any BioCurex shares recently purchased at $.11 cents. By the way, that is a hefty 18.1% loss on their investment. kag>

It is very true that I presented only one side of the story, the winning side. I thought it would provide some balance to the always negative comments from you and Gold Seeker.

I do not consider a speculator buying stock in the bulletin board a 'poor investor'. I do not think that he can be seen as a victim as the words 'poor investor' suggest.

This company has been at lower prices than now and then it has increased its share value by over 10 times. We are in the middle of a horrible financial crisis. I think it is fair to say that if BOCX survives this crisis, there is a good chance that its stock will go up. I also think that it is fair to cut them some slack. After all:

1) The company has a significant technology.

2) It was licensed after the due diligence one would expect from Abbott and Inverness, who paid significant amounts upfront. Also, Abbott presented results at a conference showing that it works.

3) Dr. Moro has not sold any significant amount of stock in the past few years.

4) Despite all predictions, the company keeps going.

5) They got caught in a mess with this crisis and a convertible loan, but they have been able to renegotiate it.

6) It seems that they are trying to turn the company around to generate revenue as quickly as possible.

7) All of the above relates to a bulletin board company, which is not where you usually find real stuff.

Don't you think that they deserve something better than the constant badgering of people who do not even have shares in that company? If your answer is no, and you think that the constant criticism is fair, then it should also be fair to you that a guy speculating in the bulletin board take a 2c hit and therefore, he should not be described a 'poor investor'.
