W2P - Thanks! That helps clarify the arrangement...

Traditionally Big Pharma throws in their drugs and money to make the clinical trials happen. And the "principal investigator" will be open to grants and other outside funding from NIH, etc...

Big Pharma gets Moffitt's (and DNAP's) expertise, a place to do the clinical trials, and a large patient-base for various cancers/drugs to test (and maybe additional funding support as mentioned above)....

Seems this is typical in the industry...

W2P---PLEASE tell me what this means! The way I read it DNAP
must pay for the work they do. Moffitt would let their people
do the work but to go to full blown clinical trials the PI must secure funding on his/her own. Do I have this right?
