#1921 RE: capt_jmj #1920

capt. my capt. - I like you a lot. As a matter of fact you are are one of my favorite people on the boards. We are at odds on this issue, however. I could repeat all of the arguments I have offered in the past, just as you have done, but I know it would be to no avail. It is ground we have traveled too many times. I have decided you are unteachable.
That was a joke but I must admit bears some truth.
I note that you still use the testimony of the mystical experts as evidence for you argument. Since when does the ballot box establish truth? I wonder which of us could gather the most votes for or against the validity of EWT. Would that really establish the truth?
One thing you said is not true of me. You said, "but when it moves against your predictions, you are quick to rail against whatever *intervention* caused the market to go against you" I defy you to find one example of this. In all of my post for these many years you should certainly be able to find one example if this be my common practice. NO one has opposed the use of "Da Boyz" or anything else as an excuse for being wrong more than me. The market is always right and we bend to it.
I truly wish you and your system the very best.
One suggestion I would make is that you test your system against using the cross of SMA 13/34 and see if you beat it. Most mechanical rule based systems cannot.
Since you bring it up I would offer a few words concerning faith. I speak only for Christian faith.
He who has it can never fully explain it. He who does not have it can never fully understand it.
The possession of faith rest with the will not the mind. Although once possessed it is the most reasonable thing in the world. True faith is a sure and certain knowledge of truth. No truth or true faith is unreasonable. It is unreasonable to be without true faith.
I suppose the most reasonable argument for true faith ever written was that done by William F. Buckley Jr. I highly recommend it.
