why wouldn't someone scan for a free entree?
I checked with my data plan and the amount of data used was tiny. The NeoReader worked fine.
I saw at least 3 Scanbuy codes in to-day's newspaper but I looked at only the first 2 pages. The front page had one code labelled Blackberry and the other iPhone. My Blackberry code via ScanLife connected me to a pod broadcast. I'll find out tomorrow how much data was involved. RIM did tell me that being tethered to the web would use a lot of my available data in my plan but I'll find out more tomorrow.
