Good job Marine. By the way, thanks for running your cell phone minutes up by letting me hang on the line, listen for 50 minutes and suggest questions, as you talked with the folks at Neustar and GSM-A. I learned just what you did. We are for real. Congrats on picking up new shares. I will too this week. Got some more 401k money to invest.

P.S. You must be a ground-pounder and not a comms Marine. It's either OVER or OUT. NEVER OVER AND OUT. OVER means I am still communicating but done with my last statement and waiting for your reply. OUT means I am done.

Thank you for that great post!
And Clawmann and others, you know who you are, thanks
for your 'ears and eyes' on all what's been happening
here the last little while!! My hat off to you all!

I've been here a long time as well, like many others.
I don't post very often and I don't have alot of time
to sit in front of my computer to watch this hour by hour,
let alone minute my minute as some here. (And I don't mean
that in a bad way.) If you have that kind of time, good for
you! I just capitalize on all the info here and add my own DD
and I KNOW this is a great investment! I will wait patiently,
adding to my position as I have Thursday and Friday, can't wait for the
next weeks and months like others, to see our investment Grow!

Thanks again, I'm glad I'm here with such great company!

N E O M, I really appreciate you putting in the effort and resources (I hope this didn't cost you too much) to go to the CTIA conference. This adds support to what I already believed, that the industry is standardizing, and that we are being recognized for our IP holdings. It sounds like the industry is moving forward quickly, that is very good news for us. Thank you for going!

NEOM, you wrote:

"CEO sb was truly humbled. you could read it easily in his actions and his words. At one point he said if I am here next year on this panel I hope I am dead....not sure exactly what to make of that comment but I think it is indicative of his mood at the time. Not good. They embraced the open standard, dropping exclusitivity to their propriatary code because of the news regarding Neomedia's patents!"

Obviously, he spent a lot of time working on, and selling, SB's now-failed business model, which was based on an assumption that Neom's patents would be irrelevant.

As for the comment that he would rather be dead than on that panel next year, I think that all of his dreams of Scanbuy being at the center of the mobile barcode universe have been dashed.

In any case, if he did in fact say that Scanbuy embraced open standards because of Neom's patent win, then I have to believe that - having taken that step - they will not fight the NY case further. It would not make sense.

NEOM,

the panel you mentioned was that gomonews "un-conference"? Scanbuy wasn't scheduled to attend there judging from Bena's blog

http://www.gomonews.com/gomo-news-unconference-faq/

Did SB CEO just came on stage together with NeoMedia, Mobile Discovery, QM Codes and Feed Henry?

Thanks N E O M for taking the time and effort to attend CTIA. Every time one of the members on this board has done this we always get some interesting insights. Your insights along with recent events appear to indicate we are finally in an excellent position to start monetizing this technology.

Kudos to you!

Best regards,

NEOM check this out

"Also, I firmly beleive that the campaign that are running are not trials, but actual revenue producing campaigns! That is big in my estimation."

Remember this trial back in May 2006

“This project clearly represents an important milestone for mobile couponing in Europe,” said Dr. Christian Steinborn, COO of Gavitec. “We are pleased to provide the technological solution, in conjunction with TopSolutions, to help McDonald’s to become the first restaurant chain efficiently and successfully using mobile couponing.”

Looks like its gone mainstream in Portugal
Scroll down and see those Gavitec Scanners
