Yeah - but see, you have the account that that makes a good living. $300 a day or so and I could be home as well. Its all relative, and why it aggravates the crap out of me that I "donated" so much money to the equities and options trading that would likely have me on vacation right now....but you are totally correct - positive pips are positive pips and one day will be what sets us all free.
If I hadn't put myself in this position, I wouldn't be so angry, but this situation is of my own making. A year ago, I could have told my husband I was putting 5K into trading and he would have said OK. What a difference time makes....
