They've slipped Visual Studio and SQL Server too.

Maybe taking away the stock options and cutting back on
benefits has affected morale.

Anyone who has worked on software projects with a ton of
people involved knows about slips.

sgolds...unless AMD can produce 20+ million A64's per quarter this would put a crimp in microsofts' sales...I'm not arguing against what you say about microsofts' notorious delays...but when you are talking about tons of software sales I think delays can be made for convenience sake...shall we say both here with microsoft putting the spit and polish to their product for a march release with nice software sales for MS XP for Christmas...this is what I would do...
