O/T I don't think LeBron joins the Nets in Brooklyn in 2010. Jay-Z or no Jay-Z, Lebron is staying put in Cleveland, IMO, especially with the salary cap dropping.

Speaking of commercial real estate, Shaq invested in some big condo tower project in Miami right at the peak of the real estate market there.

He may have to keep playing until he's 40, as his divorce filing paperwork indicated his expenses run about $850,000/month, or just over $10-million/year.

He needs to make $20-million/year just to pay his bills.

He's could be headed for bankruptcy once his career is over. I think about 75% of ex NFL players eventually file for bankruptcy as well as about 66% of ex NBA players.
