I think the next level step of Windows 64 beta interesting to developers would be inclusion of 64 bit .NET 2.0. It must be in a state that it can be Beta tested, since it is part of SQL Server 2005 (Yukon) that just went Beta. Then there Visual Studio 2005, which supports AMD64. All 3 are needed for the 64 bit push (starting with servers) into corporate market, and now all 3 are scheduled for H1 2005 now...
