I apologize for my ignorance. I didn't understand most of the questions you asked but I'm glad you brought them up. I am a new to investing and I'm picking up what I can as fast as I can. A good friend and coworker tipped me off to this company so I began looking into it. I decided to invest a small amount for approx. 40k shares with a limit order but then saw the spread. At the time of my order, the ask was .030ish but the bid was at .0189. What gives? That's not the spread posted here; I invest through my bank. Are they adding onto the spread? Any insight you could provide would be helpful to a "green" investor. (Pardon the pun--couldn't resist.) Thanks in advance for any replies.
