Agreed. The only thing they should have done recently was publicly fire the guys that made the CDS losses, on principle, and be seen to have done that.

Yep......I'd settle for that as well as naming all those DIRECTLY involved who skipped out prior to getting canned as well as disclosing all pocketed bonuses. I'm assuming, though, the correct bunch gets fingered. I'd like to think public disdain still could have an influence on future behavior....but I've come to really doubt that in these times.
